Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been out for a week already, but Nintendo is still looking to make the campers’ experience a happy one with the game’s first special event. As of the 30th of November, the players of this mobile community can get their winter holiday themed goods, just for a limited time.
Initially, the game is a fun campsite for players and their friends. On this game, players have to build a lush camp life alongside their friends and pets. This game is also themed on nature as it consists of recreation areas like fishing parks, fruit trees and the collecting of bugs. One of the recreation area is dedicated to pets that you can visit and create a relationship with for rewards. Another place where you can visit animals which might reward you few bucks is Lucky VIP Casino. This casino boasts a collection of hundreds of slot games which have been carefully handpicked just for animal lovers. Actually, this category of games itself can be found under the Animal Lovers tab. Some of these lovely games are Big Cat Win slots, Snow Leopard slots, Planet of the Apes slots, The Cheshire Cat slots and Money Bunny slots.
In most regions, players can already see the holiday season. Once you’ve started this game on Nintendo, you should be seeing a special sign running through all the newest additions. Plus, there’s a chance that you will be greeted by people wearing seasonal clothes and a whole new host of Stretch goals which need to be completed. In your mailbox, you will already see the red and white Santa cap which has been offered. But to unlock the remaining clothes and unique furniture by working around your camp. To collect the remaining clothes, you have some challenges to complete which has been set by the admin. These challenges are achievable; thus, it can be unlocked all before the end of the event, on the 26th of December.
You will also find decorative items such as cheeky snowman, fairy lights, jingle fence, festive bow tree and many more! You can make these items by collecting Candy Canes by completing requests for your furry friends. This should be easily done as the game has already gathered fruits, fish and bugs as gifts for your animal friends. Otherwise, you can try your luck in Shovelstrike Quarry for additional candy canes, instead of the usual items like bells.
It is also noteworthy that this game lets you create special furniture while the event is on. Even if this can take hours, the game won’t cut off any of your points. As long as you set the timer, you can choose any crafting.
Indeed, Pocket Camp’s first event promises a lot for Nintendo on the mobile gaming market. The company is expecting the application to be downloaded over 15 million of times on both Apple’s App Store and Play Store, by worldwide players. However, it is still unsure if the game will be the ultimate success story of the Japanese gaming giant.
