Suzzanne Uhland has a long history, more than 20 years, or legal experience in the fields of Chapter 11 and out of court restructurings. She has become an expert in her field during that time and is often called upon for her expertise in the matter.
Suzzanne received an excellent education, first at Stanford University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Economics and a Master of Arts Degree in Linguistics. She moved on to Yale University afterward – earning a JD in Law.
She was committed to her education even at the undergraduate level gaining recognition by the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and becoming a member of the Council of Presidents. She was also the recipient of the Greenberg Prize for Outstanding Linguistics Graduate.
At Yale University she was the Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Yale Journal on Regulation.
She brings that same attention to detail that made her an exceptional co-editor-in-chief to every case in her law practice.
A Matter of Law
In addition to her exceptional educational credentials, Suzzanne has had a great deal of experience along the way. From her brief tenure as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Mariana Pfaelzer of the US District Court representing the Central District of California to her time spent in education, teaching classes on Secured Transactions at Southwestern Law School; to her time at O’Melveny & Myers LLP where she continues to work today as a partner in the firm.

Among the awards and honors she has received, she is proudest of local recognition associated with being named one of the “Best Lawyers in Orange County,” by Orange Coast Magazine and one of the “Best Lawyers in America.”
