Interested in Writing for The Practice of Leadership?
I have been often asked if I would consider accepting a guest post from someone else on The Practice of Leadership. Historically I have always said “No.” However, after researching guest posting in more detail that has convinced me to give it a try.

So I will be accepting guest posts, however I will initially be limiting the number of guest posts I will publish to about two guest posts a month.
Guest Post Guidelines
The following is a list of the guest posting guidelines. Adhering to these guidelines will increase the chances that your proposed guest post will be accepted and published:
- Relevant and Useful Content: Your content must be relevant to this blog and the content must address a leadership or personal productivity topic which is typically covered by this blog.
- No Advertising:Your post cannot be an advertisement for your or someone else’s product or service.
- Unique and Exclusive Content:Your post must be original. This means that if your post must not have been previously published either on the Web or in print. Additionally, the post cannot be published anywhere else after approval. Failure to follow this rule will get your guest post deleted from The Practice of Leadership.
- Author Bio: The post may include a bio of three (3) lines of less, picture and links to your website or blog where people can find out more about you which will be published with the guest post. You may provide up to three links: one for your blog or website, one for your About page, and one for your Twitter username or Facebook page (optional).
Terms
When submitting your post you are agreeing to the following terms:
- Guest post submission does not guarantee inclusion, I will only publish posts, which in my sole discretion I believe will add value to the readers of The Practice of Leadership.
- I reserve the right to edit your guest post to conform to grammar, editorial and submission guidelines.
- I may provide a short introduction or conclusion to your guest post to explain as to why I think the post is important.
- I reserve the right to remove your published guest post if we find it republished elsewhere.
- You, the author, state that to your knowledge any work you submit is your own work and not plagiarized. When submitting your post you agree that The Practice of Leadership is in no way liable in cases of complaints of copyright violations.
- I reserve the right to limit the amount of links used in your post.
- No payment of any kind will be made for guest posts submitted to The Practice of Leadership.
Guest Post Submission
If your post meets the above guest post guidelines and you agree to the above terms, then:
- You can submit your proposed guest post by emailing it to me at the address below:

- Please include your post in the body of the email, rather than as an attachment.
- I will respond with a “yes” or “no” within approximately one to two weeks.
- The publishing of your post will be done based on how many posts have been submitted for consideration. If your post is approved it may take several days before it is actually published.
- I will notify guest bloggers when their posts have been published via e-mail.
