		<description>The three most critical leadership characteristics leaders need this year are: 1) help companies complete their transformation to the new economy  2) defend and promote business interests more aggressively to the administration and congress 3) seek new alliances in the Far East.
With the uncertainy in the markets created by pending legislation and financial regulation, it will be difficult for leaders to see the right road ahead. However, a business cannot remain stagnant and leaders will make the necessary decisions.</description>
