Thanks for pointing me the Fischer book – I’ll check it out. I’ve used The Fist 90 Days as a resource, and have also done a little of my own research on recently hired executives. Being clear on expectations is at the top of my list, as well as listening and having a support network. 
Coming in with an arrogant “I’m here to save you, I did it this way at my last company and it’ll work here too, and I’m not interested in your ideas” attitude is a surefire career killer.</description>
