		<description>I&#039;m just writing an article about demotivating employees.  I came upon your post and I heartily agree that managers are the primary demotivators for most employees.

I know that managers focus on rewards to motivate their team members without any reflection on their own participation in the demotivation process.    

Your three goals - achievement, equity and camaraderie are three critical ingredients in a happy employee.    A manager can&#039;t fix all employee issues, but if they use you guidelines, they can create a stronger working environment for their team members.
