Can&#039;t recall how many times I&#039;ve had the conversation with a new exec about turning the &quot;vision thing&quot; into the specific &quot;here&#039;s what we&#039;re going to do and why&quot; thing. 

People become energized by a vision, then act according to clarity of direction.
