It is interesting to see the Paradigm Shift in algebraic set form; it is also interest to think about how the philosophy of science gauges change - but don't neglect the balance factor. Quantum Information Processing will change these curves dramatically in favor of non-destructive methods and technologies....because as any farmer knows well - the earth is a resources which must be conserved. Organization also need to conserve there human resources - especially the communities which host them; American Corporations are quickly experience the long term effects of not doing so. A tree sways and bends in the wind - it has a biologic adaption to it's environment which allows it to outlast the extremes of winter and prolonged doubt and produces its seed so that it's expectation will always continue. How many organizations to you know that follow the 'paradigms' of the common tree.

George,

I enjoyed this post. I spent some time a few weeks ago looking at various models, and different ways to look at personal growth and change. I absolutely agree that this topic is vast and complex.

Until your post I wasn't aware of the paradigm shift model, or Robert Fritz' book. I plan on checking them out. If you're interested, here was my post on the topic of change:
